Background
Traditional compact mirrors are often limited by their form and purpose—bulky to carry and designed for a single use. As daily routines become more dynamic, users increasingly expect everyday items to be more adaptable, efficient, and space-conscious.
This led us to a fundamental question:
Can a mirror evolve beyond a single-purpose object into a compact tool that supports both daily use and unexpected situations?

Design Approach
The product is built around three key principles: minimal form, multifunctionality, and readiness across scenarios.
With a thickness of only 0.8 mm and a footprint similar to a bank card, it is designed to integrate seamlessly into daily carry. The structure is lightweight yet durable, ensuring reliability across both urban and outdoor environments.
Rather than adding complexity, the design focuses on integrating essential functions into a highly reduced form.

Key Design Decisions
Integrated Daily Functions
Distortion-free mirror for accurate grooming
Magnification for detail precision
Built-in ruler for simple measurements
Glow-in-the-dark coating for low-light visibility
Extending Use Beyond the Expected
Reflective surface designed for long-distance signaling
Applicable in outdoor and emergency contexts

User Value
Always accessible — Designed to be carried effortlessly
Functionally efficient — Multiple tools within a single object
Scenario-ready — From daily care to outdoor use
Visually restrained — Clean, neutral form suitable for all users

Conclusion
This project repositions the compact mirror as a multi-functional everyday tool.
By reducing form while extending utility, the design reflects a broader intention:
to create objects that quietly support everyday life in more ways than one.
