Background
In contemporary urban life, uncertainty is part of the everyday environment. While emergency preparedness is often emphasized, most solutions are either too bulky to carry consistently or too generic to fit individual needs. As a result, emergency kits are often left unused or forgotten. This leads to a key design question:
Can emergency preparedness be seamlessly integrated into daily life through a compact, adaptable, and personalized system?
Design Approach
Emer Pack is developed around three core principles: portability, personalization, and essential readiness.
Rather than defining a fixed set of contents, the design centers on a compact pouch that functions as a flexible container system. It includes a curated selection of essential emergency tools, while allowing users to modify and expand the kit based on their own routines, environments, and preferences.
The product is designed not only for emergency use, but as an everyday companion that maintains readiness without interrupting daily movement or lifestyle.
