HK01 5th Anniversary Event
This project designed large-scale information boards for HK01’s 5th anniversary corporate event. It organised complex company and event content into a clear, readable display system, using visual hierarchy, thematic colours, modular layouts, subtle 3D details, and interactive elements to create an engaging event focal point.

Background
This project involved the design of large-scale information boards for HK01’s 5th anniversary corporate event. The boards were used as part of the event’s thematic decoration and display environment, carrying a large amount of company information, development highlights, event content, and visual materials.
Rather than functioning as ordinary flat information panels, the design needed to consider how visitors would read and interact with the content within a physical event space. Viewing distance, reading sequence, visual focus, and photo-friendly interaction were all taken into account, allowing the information boards to serve multiple purposes: display, wayfinding, brand presentation, and spatial decoration.
Design Problem
The main challenge of this project was handling a large volume of information without creating visual clutter. The design needed to solve several key issues:
A large amount of event and company information had to be organised clearly
Visitors had limited time to read and understand the content on-site
The boards needed to match the anniversary event theme rather than appear as simple information layouts
Clear visual hierarchy and reading flow were required within a large-scale display setting
Flat display panels could easily feel static, so subtle dimensional and interactive elements were needed
The design had to balance brand image, event atmosphere, and photo-friendly presentation
The core challenge was to transform complex information into a clear, readable, and thematic display system that could work effectively within a large event environment.
Design Positioning
The project was positioned as a large-scale information display scene, turning information boards from simple flat graphics into visual focal points within the event space.
Through structured information zoning, visual hierarchy, thematic colours, graphic elements, and modular layouts, the design organised complex content into a clear and readable system. The layout guided visitors from distant viewing to close-up reading: the main theme and key visuals were visible from afar, while detailed information could be explored at a closer distance.
To strengthen the spatial experience, subtle three-dimensional effects and interactive details were added, such as layered display structures, raised visual elements, photo points, and content zones designed for closer viewing. These features helped the boards become more than background decoration — they became readable, visual, and participatory display installations.
Conclusion
This project transformed a large amount of corporate and event information into a clear, organised, and memorable anniversary display. Through information design, visual hierarchy, and spatial presentation, the boards improved readability while becoming key visual anchors within the event environment.
By adding subtle dimensional details and interactive elements, the design balanced brand communication, event decoration, and audience engagement, strengthening the overall identity and memorability of HK01’s 5th anniversary event.
